Thanksgiving Dinner at PS 317
With generous support from St. Luke's School in Manhattan and Family-to-family.org, Millennium was proud to be a part of bringing a hot Thanksgiving meal to students and families from PS 317 affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Students worked up an appetite with volunteers from the New York Road Runners before dining and had plenty of energy to continue after their hot meal.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Turkey Donations
Thanks to Councilman Lew Fidler, Assemblyman Alan Maisel and National Grid, community residents can enjoy turkey this Thanksgiving.

Thank you for these past two weeks of giving for the needs of hurricane victims in our neighborhood, Gerritsen Beach, Canarsie and Far Rockaway. The last day we were accepting donations was last Thursday, November 15th. On Friday, all the clothing for women and children was brought to Samaritan Village Inc. in Brooklyn. The supplies were greatly appreciated and will go where they are needed. On Monday November 19th, Executive Director Paul Curiale delivered the men's clothing to the New York City Rescue Mission in Manhattan, where they will find their way to those in need. Millennium Development will continue to work for the relief effort with the Brooklyn District office.
