Our first ever Skate Night was a chilly one, but skaters had no problem staying warm with a little help from 80's and 90's classics and some hot chocolate! If you enjoyed our Skate Night, or missed out on it, keep your evening free Wednesday, December 28th- we're hosting another Skate Night!

MPAA 3000 Strong!

The Salt Marsh Nature Center was proud to welcome MPAA's 2999th and 3000th members this Monday morning! The active adults were eager to celebrate being 300 strong with balloons, cake and a sea of smiles.

Harvest Festival & Blood Drive 2011

Thank you to everyone who made our Annual Harvest Festival this year another rousing success. With your help, we raised $102 in donations and $70.76 towards the John Malone Scholarship Fund and collected 46 pints of blood from donors- more than we ever have before!

Monday October 24th, NYC celebrated its first annual Food Day, which is dedicated to the importance of eating real and healthy food. The Department of Health also launched it's latest educational campaign describing the amount of sugar New Yorkers consume unwittingly, most of which comes from sugary drinks.
