Aging in America Conference 2010

Millennium Development's Administration is constantly doing everything we can to keep up to date on the leading methods and best practices in the field of Active Aging Supports for older adults.

For four days in early March the Leadership of Millenniums Active Adult Movement participated in classes and workshops to help advance our knowledge of techniques to help people stay healthy by staying active.

At the conference the team met and consulted with both the New Leader of the American Medical Association as well as the founder and CEO of the Internationational Council on Active Aging, Colin Milner. Many contacts were created for us to serve the Active Adult more efficiently including the nationwide director of the Silver Sneakers program, a representative from the Easter Seals senior employment program & others. Through these contacts we hope to create and improve existing programs to serve our client population better.
