The PS 222 TASC after school program provides the students with an expanded learning environment for educational, social, cultural and recreational development.

Our staff consists of teachers that are employed at PS 222, college students and other adult child care providers.

The students are given a variety of educational and recreational activities.  We are in the process of starting a basketball team, complete with cheerleaders!  Our chess team seems to be shaping up nicely as well.

The students have a 45 minute homework assistance period, a healthy snack and then they partake in two activities per day.  This program gives the students and their parents an outlet until 5:30 pm when school is in session.    

This after school program is made possible through Councilman Lew Fidler and The After-School Corporation (TASC).
